A邸

　定年されたご夫妻が、終の棲家にされる立て替え住宅である。
　間取りは、日射や通風などの自然環境や、用途による公共度などを加味し、内陣を中心に放射状に各部屋を配している。これにより、生活動線が簡便になり、かつ、住居内のヒエラルキーが明快になっている。
　この平面計画で確保した、求心性と回遊性を、架構に昇華させるために、四天柱の形式を採用し、その上に、扇登り梁を掛け、さらに内陣の上に塔屋を上げている。これは、力学上のバランスもさることながら、浄土寺浄土堂に見られる内部空間の劇的な演出や、インドネシア-スンバ島の伝統家屋の持つ精神性を保有することも意図している。
　モードではない、固有の伝統技法や意匠の有する美徳は、決して色褪せることのない建築言語となる。
　この住宅が、幾世代にも継承され、モダンであり続けることを切に願っている。

This building is the house for couple who have retirement.
For the layout of the house, I think about insolation and airiness, and then I arranged each room radially. It makes the house convenient for living and it makes hierarchy in the house lucid.
The wooden construction expresses the centripetal and the migratory including this layout. Such as 4 columns at the center of the house, beams fixed center, the tower above the chancel.
This proposes not only dynamic balance but also dramatic presentation, rich spirituality.
I believe the virtue included traditional technique or design never fade.
And I really hope this building keeps being modern in all ages.
