Y邸

　相模湾を望む高台に建つ住宅である。
　日本の田舎家の典型の間取りであった、”土間付き板の間と四間取り”を現代生活に合致するようにアレンジしている。
　沓脱から外廊下を渡り玄関戸に至るアプローチで、この家に対する高揚感を演出している。
そして、待合を中心に居間、寝室、水回り、2階へ行けるよう動線が簡便に完結している。
　軸組は、手斧で仕上げた松梁を編み込むように組み、これらを1尺2寸の欅の大黒柱が支えている。この大黒柱も、槍カンナで仕上げ、面を手斧で取り、欅の大らかさを表現している。
この梁組の上に、貫を通した和小屋を組み、登り梁を梁と組むことで、トラスの強固な小屋組みを実現している。

　伝統工法を駆使し大地震にも耐えうる木造軸組をデザインし、これが現代においても魅力ある建築に映るよう、ディテイル、木割、素材等、総合的なバランスと調和を目指した。

This house stands on risng ground and you can see the coast from this site.
I refer to Japanese traditional layout and arrange to match modern living.
about wooden frame, it’s assembled pine beams as like weave with thread.

I plan this house with traditional wooden technique without hardware for frame and focus to balance and harmony totally with detail, materials, modules.
I hope almost generations value this buildings as cool one through the modern sight.
